The Relationship
We make the film. Kay Wrapz installs it.
This site is owned and operated by LUXE Protection Films. It exists to show you the film we manufacture and to connect you with the shop we selected to install it in this part of Florida.
Kay Wrapz is an independent business. It sets its own prices, books its own schedule, does the work in its own facility, and stands behind its own workmanship. LUXE stands behind the film.
Kay Wrapz also runs its own website and its own brand. This is not that site — it is the LUXE side of the relationship.
Manufacturer and brand owner. Makes the film, publishes the specifications, administers the applicable product warranty, and owns and maintains this website.
Independently owned and operated installer. Performs, prices, schedules and warrants its own installation workmanship.
What this means for you
Two businesses, two clear responsibilities: LUXE for the film, Kay Wrapz for the installation. ELITE Installer designation creates no common ownership, partnership, franchise or joint venture between them.
Why Kay Wrapz
What the shop is good at.
The background Kay Wrapz brings to a LUXE film install.
Bulk-panel technique
Kay Wrapz applies PPF in bulk rather than pre-cut sections, working for maximum coverage with minimal to no visible seams.
Exotic and enthusiast vehicles
The shop specializes in exotics while working across enthusiast builds and daily drivers of every kind.
Founder-led
Founded in 2024 and run by its founder, who remains hands-on in the shop, including PPF installation.
Color-change craftsmanship
A wrap shop by background — panel alignment, clean edges and finished detail carry directly into Color Series PPF.
Local to Groveland
A single Groveland location serving the South Lake County corridor and the wider Orlando metro.
Kay Wrapz offers additional services beyond LUXE film, including vinyl wrap, window tint and powder coating for wheels and brake calipers. Those services are offered by Kay Wrapz independently of LUXE — see kaywrapz.com for their full range.
The LUXE Collection
The film Kay Wrapz installs.
LUXE manufactures paint protection film for professional installation. These are the lines available through Kay Wrapz, plus the LUXE installation product the film goes on with.

Warranty. Gloss Is Boss carries a 10-year limited warranty from LUXE Protection Films — administered by LUXE, not by the installer. Other films in the range carry their own current terms; ask Kay Wrapz for the documentation that applies to the product you choose. Installation workmanship is warranted separately by Kay Wrapz. Woman-Owned · Founder-Led
Four years from moving states to a shop of her own.
Cadence Karpinski moved from Wisconsin to Florida in 2022 to work in automotive customization. She learned the trade, then founded Kay Wrapz in 2024. In May 2026, Kay Wrapz announced that the business finally had a home of its own in Groveland.
Cadence remains hands-on in the shop, including PPF installation.
She has also said she built Kay Wrapz partly to help more women enter, grow and succeed in an industry that was not traditionally built with them in mind.
Today the shop works out of a bay on Sampey Road in Groveland — the light-industrial corridor between Clermont and the Turnpike, about half an hour west of Orlando. Work is by appointment: bring the vehicle, or send photos and the year, make and model through the form below and Kay Wrapz will come back to you with a quote.

Questions
Straight answers.
Is Kay Wrapz part of LUXE?
No. Kay Wrapz is an independently owned and operated business. LUXE Protection Films manufactures the film and selected Kay Wrapz as a LUXE ELITE Installer for this area. That designation does not create common ownership, a partnership, a franchise or a joint venture. Kay Wrapz sets its own prices, runs its own schedule and warrants its own workmanship.
Why does this website exist if Kay Wrapz already has one?
This site is owned and run by LUXE. It shows the film we make and connects you with the shop that installs it locally. Kay Wrapz's own website covers their full business, including services LUXE has nothing to do with. Both are worth a look — kaywrapz.com.
What is paint protection film, in plain terms?
A clear or colored urethane film applied over your paint. It takes the road debris, stone chips, scratches and UV exposure that would otherwise hit the paint. Gloss Is Boss and Stealth Matte are 7.8 mil, with a self-healing surface — minor scratches and scuffs repair themselves.
What is the difference between clear PPF and Color Series?
Clear film — Gloss Is Boss — protects the paint and leaves the color you already have. Color Series is a colored film that does both jobs at once: it changes the color of the car and protects the paint underneath, with the same self-healing surface. Stealth Matte changes the finish rather than the color.
Who covers the warranty?
Two separate things. Gloss Is Boss carries a 10-year limited warranty administered by LUXE Protection Films — the manufacturer. Other films carry their own current terms. The quality of the installation is warranted by Kay Wrapz. Ask them for the documentation that applies to the product you choose.
Does Kay Wrapz only install LUXE?
No. Kay Wrapz is an independent shop and offers other products and services. This site markets LUXE products installed by Kay Wrapz. If you want something outside the LUXE range, ask them directly.
How long does an install take?
It depends entirely on coverage, vehicle and paint condition, and Kay Wrapz is the one to answer it. Send your vehicle details through the form and they will give you a realistic timeframe with the quote.
Do I need to bring the car in for a quote?
Not to start. Year, make, model and a few photos are usually enough for Kay Wrapz to come back with a number and talk through coverage options.
